SHOWCASE OF TAP DANCE AND LIVE MUSIC!

 

This year’s annual production honours the legacy of legendary bassist Ray Brown, whose musical voice helped shape the sound of modern jazz. A longtime mentor to TRI Featured Guest Artist Heather Cornell, Ray Brown’s influence is deeply woven into this performance. Heather Cornell, herself a master artist and leading figure in rhythm tap, brings his music into conversation with movement, improvisation, and live performance.

Presented at The Great Hall in Toronto, this all ages, general admission event brings together TRI Faculty, TRI Youth Ensembles, celebrated musicians, and additional guest performers for a dynamic celebration of rhythm, mentorship, and artistic legacy.
